Determining the exact number of hours needed is not an exact science, but based on our experience with hundreds of students, we can provide a realistic roadmap.

Factors that influence your preparation time

1. Current vs. Target Level: Moving from a strong B1 to a B2 is much faster than jumping from A2 to B2.
2. Familiarity with the Exam Format: The DELE/SIELE are standardized tests. Even if you speak Spanish well, you need to learn the specific "rules of the game" for each task.
3. Study Consistency: Two hours of private tutoring per week, combined with 3 hours of solo study, is much more effective than a massive 10-hour sprint once a month.

Average Estimates

If you are already at the CEFR level you want to certify, 10 to 15 hours of exam-focused tutoring are usually enough to master the strategies and pass. If you still need to improve your grammar or vocabulary to reach that level, we recommend a plan of 25 to 40 hours.
